What have you done to your car today?

Took the coupe for an aircon service as I don’t know when and if it has been ever done. Aircon was working well but I guess it was for peace of mind.
To my surprise almost 300g of gas were missing from the system. Oil was also replaced at the same time and some UV thingy added to find possible leaks easier.

[ref]Micke[/ref], what a beauty!
Cheers mate, looks nice from a distance  Needs some PDR and a paint correction to look nice. The good thing is that on silver it’s harder to see the imperfections.

FunkyGBrown the picture looks like (from the flooring) that you’ve got your car in your front room! (Is that not a shag-pile carpet??) 😉 fair play!

Most definitely concrete.. the kind that makes knee pads a necessity.. when working on the car of course! :driving:

Passed its MOT today after having been off the road for over 9 months! (Not that I didn't expect it to of course)

Always nice to get the MOT out the way, without tempting fate, in her 18 years she’s never failed one yet…..🤐

Replaced the rear brake hoses and adjusted the handbrake. Hoses did already show some signs of wear but they were the original ones.

The to-do list is getting shorter

Fitted a new rear light for my E89. Simple enough job, just need to make sure it's a nice seal. I can now turn right without the warning noise :driving:

Just replaced both front wishbones and lollipops, had an MOT advisory for a loose lower ball joint so figured it was worth the preventative maintenance. Top nut on the inner ball joint on the drivers side was a real bitch though!

Gave the wiper blades a very good clean with a window cloth and although not very old and hardly used squeaked like hell near the bottom of the windscreen. Removed loads of black muck, went out today and it rained a little but no more annoying squeak.

As the Finnish plates are smaller than the normal European size, the backing plate/plate holder did look a bit off in my opinion.

Ofcourse BMW decided to install it with 5 rivets, which did left some visible holes. Will find some plugs so it will look neater, before the bumper gets painted in the future.

But it does look much better
