What have you done to your car today?

New plates on, was not fun removing the previous number plate sticky pads though… not fun at all.

Weird photo, due to exposure in very low light. Colour looks way off.

Colour definitely looks wrong. :?

Nice plate though, but I'm too mean to buy one specific to the car because I'd basically end up giving it away when I came to sell the car.

Front breaks done with new Callipers:)

No it was easy enough to fit - perhaps a bit fiddly getting a few of the bolts in given tight access but works well.

I second that experience, having installed mine and 4 others for fellow Zed owners

Did either of you use any sealant or just the bolts that they supplied ?

It could do with a thin bead of silicone to really seal it properly

Around the edge before fitting and then wipe of excess or a bead around after fitting ? Which would you suggest .

Weird. Your reply to User 1536Z4 comment shows up as me

The latter, definitely. You can tweak the fit slightly using the bolts, get it as close to perfect as you can. Then lay a very thin bead along the edge, soapy finger to smooth it out and remove excess. Should look perfect

Best jointing compound on the planet is Hylomar (M).

It’s not really for bonding purposes, more for aesthetics. I’d recommend a sealant that retains a slight flexibility, it allows the diffuser to blend seamlessly with the bumper

[/qMy brain was still on rocker cover gaskets,..........it is late :D uote]

Well I got it fitted but had to cut some of the carbon fibre away from around the exhaust box as being a larger box than standard . Bit of a tense moment when cutting into it to get the correct shape so did it a small piece at a time ending up with 3 cuts to get it right . Thankfully . I have not sealed around it yet as waiting to see if it moves/settles whilst being driven first . I used some rust killer /prevention on the bumper chassis and some protection paint whilst the bumper was removed . I shall post some photos of it on the car once I have taken them .

Pulled an USB-C cable from the fuse box to the other side of the car, near the vent between the door and steering wheel. For charging the phone in the holder there. Power is switched with the ignition.
Also put in new floor mats. The old ones were not bad, but the drivers side mat moved around. Don't know why, but there were no plugs or velcro on the carpet anymore. So, easiest solution were new mats with plugs. Very easy to install and only a little pinhole in the carpet.

Have you also provide update adapters for calipers ? This breaks are more bigger like serials breaks, or ?
