Are you saying my seats need cleaning
Didn`t know about the woolite trick but I bought a colour spray kit from forum member True -Blue earlier this year so will be doing that sometime next year

I was informed so, yes. I just didn't expect this to be so bad in a car with 100.000km, driven in Germany and Sweden before I got it.Usel said:x-driver said:Be careful with cleaning the seats. I'd say the reason this happened is the original coloured urethane coating that's applied to automotive leather had worn off in places. This is why the leather cleaning bottles state to test it first.
Your seats basically needed painting regardless because of the coating being worn off. The original coating is very very tough and will handle abuse from many different chemicals. Once it's gone though then the results you experienced happened![]()

My back was a little sore this morning. The roadster is a "Diva Roadster" kit car. It's all fiberglass with a Chevy LS1 V8 and a 6 speed manual. Hopefully I'll get finished soon.1536Z4 said:BumpyZ4 said:Installed a new door membrane (water leak). Also, started changing over from grey interior trim to black.
Good jobHow is your back holding up after doing that ? Mine is suffering badly from doing mine but there again its not that good normally .
What is the roadster in the background ?
