Picked my car up from RBM today. Full X8R vanos refresh, X8R DISA kit, new rear springs and RTAB, few little leaks sorted, new thermostat and engine, coolant, brake service.

but what a drive back home! Honestly feels like a completely different car. I knew my vanos probably needed some love after nearly 100k, but it’s absolutely transformed it. Throttle response feels so much better and pulls all the way through. Sport mode is almost scary now!
Given her a whole new lease of life and I feel much more confident driving, knowing all the little niggles have been sorted

) to not only transfer seats onto electric bases, but also swap over the occupancy sensor to make sure they worked properly and drive to sleepy West Oxfordshire to fit them for me. As Tim Nice-but-Dim would say ‘a thoroughly bloody jolly nice bloke’
