For a little while now I have had a trail of water running out of my rear passenger roof drain after driving on bad road surfaces. So today’s job was to get the muck out. Took wheel off and plastic stuff then the rubber bung thing, little bit of clean water but no muck. Had a poke around up the pipe, something’s stuck so using my Transit mr whippy I gently poked around from the top in the water and found the hole. Pushed it into the hole and out popped this, 2 little bits of wood and some fur. Who knows what you’re going to find in your pipes.2068316F-C031-41BA-83C2-C3ACB8E64404.jpeg
I did this at the weekend and the weekend before.
My left side drain was stuck at the top and the hole at the top needed poked and everything came flooding out.
The right side had the issue at the bottom end where the bung was full of mud and required a poke a bottle brush poked and came out black with mud. I then poured water at the top and everything came flooding out.
I am now rinsing both sides to get rid of debris with every wash. I am surprised though what you found. A twig must have snapped off and got trapped in the rear of your hood at some point. I think that's extremely bad luck. Mine was just full of dirt and grime
