...three hours of careful drilling and thread cutting and all sorted. Car felt ok before but the rear shocks were completely done ...push damper rods in and they just stayed there !!I feel for you. Tromans said:Made some good progress with mine recently. Bought a vonhaus DA polisher. Clay bar followed by meguiars compound and polish. Ran out of time to wax and buff properly so just applied some of the cheat spray on stuff. Made an enormous difference to the car, it's a different league! Mind you, I'd always assumed machine polishing would be easy... I was done in by the end of the day!
Just fitted a Robbs Clutch Stop and been out for a blast. Its certainly helpful and sped up gear changes.
