What have you done to your car today?

Easy to fit? Did you go for the standard size?

Dead easy on my E86. 2 minute job, no tols required. Unscrewed the OEM part by hand, screwed new in job jobbed!

Took delivery of the car yesterday.

Condition is stunning for a 15 year old car, as it should be with the super low mileage it has. Unfortunately it was pretty dirty inside and more so it was absolutely stinking of fusty badness to the point where the wife refused to drive it.

Spent maybe 4 hours on the interior today to bring it up to snuff. Hopefully these pics do my work some justice.

Put fifty miles on the car today and brought loads of shopping home. Surprising how much these cars can hold. P. S. Discussed fitting polyurethane bushes and new suspension with my garage today... Could be happening soon. Gonna stick with oem shocks, unless someone can suggest otherwise.. with good reason. Apologies for not responding to some of the great posts on here but, any chance I get from not working is driving.... :driving:

My Baby finally home from the body shop.

I took the car out from winter storage and drove it for the first time since November.
It started right up and drove excellent. :)

When checking things over after the drive I discovered that an oil leak had developed below the a/c compressor. :( More on that in this thread.

Detailed the engine bay yesterday.

Wore out my poor back.

The pictures do. If I were close to where you live, I would visit you for guidance. Good job!

Cheers my man!

From my side.
Got my Scanner 1.4 and reset the TRANSPORT MODE of my E85. It is running now.
Also, scanned it completely and set up the comfort mode to OPEN and LOCK with just one touch.

Got fed up with being a cripple with my knackered back, so enlisted some help to lift the seats back in to Project Freeleeta.
Then grovelled around on my hands and knees tidying it all up.
Seats cleaned, recoloured and the backs fitted securely.
Jammed multi-changer removed (bluetooth dongle found fitted anyway)
New unscratched gear surround
Carpets not so much cleaned as decontaminated!!
All interior plastics cleaned
Steering wheel refitted with a Mewants leather cover with red stitching.
At last I feel like I've started!
Massive pile of new suspension and brakes sitting in the garage looking at me.
Back needs to sort itself a bit more first, but I'm feeling happier.

And for IRD, before he comments, I've angled the steering wheel in honour of bigwinn :D
