What have you done to your car today?

Finally moved my bikes from my old place to our new house into the garage next to the Roadster - Two Germans and an Italian!!. Got the Z4 in there too although the garage needs a good clear out so there is more space to move around the car and bikes for maintenance

Finally after lots of button pushing over several weeks to get the clock working again I gave up. Wife came out, sat in the car, pushed some buttons and sorted it ! What the, who knows. Female magic or something :D

Collected it!
New addition to the fleet, many thanks to Steve (Sidewaze Samm) for parting with his pride and joy.
A long day, train journey from Norfolk to Stockport, so I rewarded myself with a detour over the Snake Pass and Ladybower, on the way for a cuppa with Stuart (Bigwinn). Left home 5:30am, got back indoors 7:30pm.
Today will be getting to know the car a bit better and a little list of jobs to do. One top mount is splitting, so I'll be seeing what else needs doing while I'm in there.
Oh, and sorry Steve, there'll be a whippy going on, though I may make a small concession to a slightly shorter one.

Well I’ve gave The Reaper a wash and put new black grills on today, though a neighbour came out and said it’s unusual to see a woman doing these things 😂 I said I’m not your typical woman. Anyway have a good weekend all ☺️

Thing is... isn't this your first face-lift zed? A whippy is fine on the older style cars but is an anachronism on a face-lift car, where only a stubby will do - so as not to spoil the cutting edge design of the errr... different bumpers. Oh, and the tango-free, super-modern rear lights...

Seems odd seeing 'my' car in someone else's posts!

Rear hub centers were covered in rust. Wire brushed and a thin coat of paint from a rattle can.

Swapped out Sports for M-Sports after picking up the new ones yesterday (thanks [ref]Weston Matt[/ref]).

Two reflections:
Firstly, get some help. The seats are bloody heavy and manoeuvring them in and out of a coupe is no easy task.

Secondly, don’t press the memory buttons while sitting in the driver’s seat. The previous owner might have programmed it for their kids to sit in and you’ll find yourself crushed into and under the steering wheel!

Washed and detailed the wheel wells with AG’s engine and machine cleaner, finished with Meguiar’s HCV. Plenty of snow outside still, so lots of time to prepare for the spring.

Off to Paddock Motors at Aylesbeare tomorrow to have my 4 wheel alignment done. They asked me all the right questions so seems all good. Shame it’s going to be wet so roof up

What an annoying thing, went to Paddock Motors to have my alignment done at 10am as arranged 2 weeks ago and no record of the appointment in their book. :headbang: So either hang around all day or go back in the afternoon. I was not prepared to do either and didn't want to make another 1 hour around trip and waste more time and money so didn't have it done. Will now look for somewhere more local to me. What a pita.

Last week I had my MV2's exchanged with freshly refurbished ones by Oxford Performance Autos. Great service.
However, they didn't align my wheel centre caps, which was more than I could bear. Correct that today!
