Wow. I feel stupid posting my efforts after reading all that!
Do you have a lift to get access to the underneath? Would love a bigger/empty garage.
No I have 4 axle stands and a trolly jack and some bits of wood to get the car up enough to get under it.
Garage is a single garage but a small L shaped bit as a work area with a bench.
Today I finished off the exhaust re fitting and all the bits that go along with that like the heat shields, support plate, under trays.
Photo of the rear brake lines I have made up
I now have some P clips to attach the pipes and ABS sensor cables to the trailing arms
So I am nearing the end of the winter work for the Z
Remaining work that I know of
Connect up ABS sensors and clip in place
Connect up rear brake wear sensor and clip in place brakes
Bleed rear brakes
Re fit fiddly bits of trim in the wheel arch that covers the connection boxes for the sensors
Fit rear wheels
Fit the Peterson oil relief valve when it get here (long story)
Fit cam/rocker cover
Fit strut brace
Check everything again
Lower to the ground
Tax it for April
Drive it to Simon Thorpe Motors for a full alignment and a second set of eyes to check everything looks ok.
Run in the con rod bearings, oil change.
Then drive it on nice days during the summer
Slight spanner in the works while driving back from Cleethorpes to Manchester my 1 series started stuttering under power and the dash lit up almost every warning light mainly to do with the ABS so likely the rear ABS sensor has failed due to the reluctor rink rusting and swelling then wiping the face off the sensor so I now have that to do as well.
