What have you done to your car today?

X4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all round fitted £420 Black Circles with current Michelin offer.

On standard 18” staggered alloys with 20mm spacer front / 15mm spacer rear.

Went to new sizes 245/40/18 rear, 225/40/18 front

Old sizes where 255/30/18 rear, 225/30/18 front

Might be helpful to people looking for setups as I was.

((Oh and now I have some front wheel rub! )

20mm front spacers is quite aggressive - swop them front to rear and you'll probably find it alleviates the rubbing.

I’m most likely going to have to take all spacers off and then work out from there. I’ve got 20,15mm spacer sets so will have a play around with them all and see what helps.

Maybe a 15mm on the front and rear

Took the front spacers off today but left the 15mm on the rear. no rubbing... so have ordered a set of 10mm front spacers and will hopefully be ok running a 10mm front / 15mm rear setup. Will update once fitted Tuesday as the car looks terrible with no front spacer currently :/

Fitted 10mm on the fronts and left the 15mm and ever so rubbing on hard braking now and uneven roads.

So I tried the wheel liner behind the arch on the very top and seems to have now fixed it finally.

As you can see the pictures below this is current setup with the new tyres and the spacers and lord knows how much this car is lowered by

Fitted Pirelli P Zeros all round & 20 mm rear & 15mm front spacers, and new ultra 6000k dipped and full beam bulbs and LED sidelight bulbs.

Hi, First time I ever Clayed bar a car. Meguiars Clay bar kit used, then Halfords Polish ( excellent stuff was recommended by many 'what polish sites'. Then used Meguiars Ultimate Wax, really good stuff does not need a lot of elbow grease.
Four hour job. Well pleased with results. Come a nice warm sunny day I shall be fitting my Brembo discs and pads.

very nice! What colour are the alloys? Any specific paint code or brand? Can you post a couple of side pictures or even a close-up?
Alloys were done Shadow grey with fleck. wanted silver but guy doing wheels convinced me on the grey. Glad he did

Went to use my cup holder and it was jerky coming out; finished using it so pushed it back in and something snapped and now the whole mechanism has fallen into the cavity. Will have to unscrew it tomorrow and see what I've done

Started a project that I've been putting off for over a year. Fitting 6"x9" speakers along with a new amp in the rear bulkhead storage cubby holes.

Collected the front x member from the powder coaters

before and after there is a small bit inside that has not been covered but I will paint it and wax oil it anyway.

Removed the front timing cover as the oil pump tensioner is showing a little bit of wear

So the front harmonic damper off water pump out, vanos solenoid off then the cover to allow access to the chain tensioner.

had tyres fitted, and when i collected it they said they`d slightly scuffed a wheel but will pay for it fixing, with it been dark and raining couldnt really look, but spotted this

Had a look today and wiped off the tyre stuff and guessing they mean this

then theres this but hasnt cracked paint
