What have you done to your car today?

Ordered CSF stepped FMIC. Chargepipe next, then will look at an MHD tune.
order was cancelled by the company's security software. Must have seemed like a sketchy transaction. Can't be bothered reordering now, so back to square one. Wish I could find something local instead of this Internet bs.

Welcome to the forum!

That's a great daily (hopefully a 325ti) - I had one for 3 years and loved it.

Re badged my Z today and cleaned engine bay. Original badges have been kept so that I can take it back to original. Please don't :fuelfire: me.

very nice! What colour are the alloys? Any specific paint code or brand? Can you post a couple of side pictures or even a close-up?

Decided today, albeit with a heavy heart, that the Z4 will be getting sold next spring. Only have space for 1 car and I'm finding myself needing something a bit more practical, so I've got an order placed for a Leon Cupra... I mean I cant be going off getting a car with LESS power, can I?

Its been a fun 3 years mind, hopefully theres a few more days to enjoy the roof down clear days over the winter, then it'll be up for sale.

I too am considering shifting my Z4 on in the spring. I seem to have a bad itch for an e89 that needs scratched 😬 can't seem to stop looking them. It's what size of engine to go for??

And you need to ask that question? It's gotta be at least a 3 litre to replace a 3.0i.

I'm not overly fussed to be honest. It's good to get some opinions.

Winter once over, while garaged, automatic gearbox and diff oil change and gearbox oil filter, replace the brake lines, standard oil and filter change, spark plugs and steering column adjust for slight sticky steering issue.

May have a weepy head gasket too, possibly.. so as a precaution, adding some stuff to the coolant

Is the 'Steel seal' head gasket repair any good? If so I shall bear in mind for any future catastrophe. 🀞🏻

My opinion 3 litre with or without turbos, depending on your pocket!

I’ve been told from the mechanic that he’s been using them with good success, even on the Land Rovers that the head can warp slightly apparently, they have been still running three years on lol

I think the stuff reacts with the coolant chemicals and heat to form some type of epoxy that homes into the gasket possibly, your supposed to run the engine for 30 mins idle or do a 5mile drive at 60mph, ( from YouTube)

My pockets run deep. It's the short arms that's the problem πŸ˜‚
