What have you done to your car today?

Fitted first aid box for extra storage under drivers seat.

Also removed one piece of foam from the sound generator, the one nearest to the cabin - wow!!

Hahahaha. I wish I could actually do that to my ///M. It's not often one can get so much for so little (or no expenses whatsoever in this case)

No expense but your fuel economy - the noise in 3rd gear, high revs is addictive :driving:

Oil and filter change ready for the English/Welsh drive. New battery fitted and all seems good in the Zed world

Gave the interior a clean as it was covered in bits of tree, dust and dirt  it hadn't been done for months, as I'm not too keen on cleaning car interiors

Then I thought I may aswell do the exterior whilst I'm at it

Windscreen is being replaced tomorrow, so hopefully autoglass do a decent job of it.

Does anyone know whether this door dent and scuff can be smart repaired? The wind caught the door and blew it into the corner of my old house :headbang: it bugs me everytime I wash the car. It has dented very slightly.

The dent looks smart repairable Ben but why don't you just do your favourite new hobby and replace the whole door

Just took mine out for a drive, only thing working nights is you can't bloody sleep when your supposed to at the weekend..

Took MrsG up to Harlyn Bay, for another stretch on the SWCP. Bit too much Holliday traffic for the Zed to stretch it's legs too. So we just bimble and enjoyed the sunshine. :)

Got home and replaced the base speakers, in the doors of MrsG's Mx5. So a good day and a happy MrsG. :D

I don't fancy taking all the stuff out of my doors and transferring them across to a different door  would rather someone just turn up on my drive and fix it for me

Your coupe looks a little like sepang bronze in that photo 8) stunning.

I don't miss night shifts whatsoever! It's been just over a year since I came off them and feel so much better. Mind you, I don't like the 5:20am alarm clock every other week :headbang:

Yea I can't imagine changing a door is pleasant.

Should easily be repairable by smart repair tho...

Thanks I know it is like a chameleon this car

Hmm I'm a big fan of nights to be honest, more so the money it's just sleeping I find hard at weekends, sleep like a baby during the week!

Quick engine clean and using my mates new high gloss detailer (blue liquid!!)

I stopped working nights last September and I still haven’t got back into a normal sleep pattern. I’m often up in the night for a couple of hours :x

Very nice  May I ask where you bought all those shiny/carbon covers from? Or are they hydro-dipped?

Fitted Precision spacers - 20mm rear and 15mm front on MV2 alloys.

Happy with them, great value when compared to my usual
choice of H&R.

Changed the diff oil put all my toole etc away went to Halfords to look at a cycle carrier complete with frame st on the passenger seat and it did not fit too well, so it will be wheels and kit bag in the boot and frame less the seat post on the passenger seat for racing next Friday.

On the way there I could here a new noise went slowly listening when I got to Halfords (only 2 miles) the drivers side front calliper was smelly hot.

So on the way home went to GSF and they had one £96 inc so came home got some tools out again and fitted it.

Ordered a left hand side one as they only had the one
