Close this is a photo of my reflection in the bonnet of an Interlargos blue Z4

Spent the evening polishing some of the car panel by panel more work to do....

Removed a failed starter motor (nothing, nada, dead) and installed a new one from West Lancs Auto. Found them in the forum - thanks.

Gave it a machine polish with some AF tripple and went over some scratches with some menzerna and a more aggressive pad, come out alright!

It is mate yeah never seen one in the flesh till I got this certainly changes in different lights

Very sadly deposited my baby at my mechanics early this AM. it will be sitting outside in the cold for three days before they get to look at her on Monday.

It has developed a rather loud grinding and clunking form the front of the engine under the rocker cover region when started from cold after sitting for a few days. It only lasts for a few seconds until the oil gets around it but is not good. They thought it may be a timing chain tensioner, and this mornings noise was significantly less than the last time she was cold started. They have secured a new one, (last in NZ apparently) and fingers crossed it will be this and nothing more major.

Such a bummer, as the forecast for Christchurch this weekend has Zed cruising written all over it ....

Buzyg, presume you mean Gurnards Head ? My favourite area of Cornwall, we usually stay in St.Just where we're planning to retire to. I like to park up at Carn Galver Tin Mine and then do a circular walk stopping for a drink/lunch at the Gurnards Head Hotel and then back along the cliff top coast path. This is my neck of the woods! It's a great driving route, especially before all the tourists come and clog it up in the summer :roll: I do it most days of the week as the girlfriend lives in St. Ives and I live in St. Just. Certainly worse places to be

Thinking about doing this now its warm... just me, just the MR driving all the way there. Night or 2 and back!

This windscreen was only fitted a couple of months ago! My 4th or 5th in 7 years of ownership.

Also need a new screen Ben never noticed when I bought it but my one is cracked across the bottom in the black bit! Do you need a new seal or do they re use old one?
