What have you done to your car today?

Fitted my newly acquired 108's, very pleased with the look, best wheels for the E85 roadster IMO.
Is it my imagination or is the suspension a bit high for a 3.0i? I know the previous owner replaced it, he said he put standard on but I'm not so sure.

Had a nice drive down to Zennor, near St Ives. What a glorious day. A good walk along the coast path. Then headed home along the coast road, followed a lovely AMG SL63 for several miles. Neither of us were in a hurry just enjoying a roof down day on some great driving roads. 8) :D

I’ve had lunch in the pub there a few times, tiny road into the village from memory :o
Rob
As discribed Rob. Lovely little pub just around the corner from the church. One way in and one way out. We stopped off for our last cuppa, on the walk, at Dunard's head. Being the odd ball I am, I climbed to the very top and took in the view. 8) Whist the walk leader checked his insurance out down below.

Buzyg, presume you mean Gurnards Head ? :D My favourite area of Cornwall, we usually stay in St.Just where we're planning to retire to. I like to park up at Carn Galver Tin Mine and then do a circular walk stopping for a drink/lunch at the Gurnards Head Hotel and then back along the cliff top coast path. Some photos I've taken there over the last few years  20160811_113842_Richtone(HDR).jpg20190521_222127.jpg20160811_132628_Richtone(HDR).jpg20190521_222303.jpg20190521_222451.jpg

Your quite right and I've not touched a drop. Gurnard's head. Will definitely be returning there again as Mrs G and I continue our SWCP walk. Great photo"s

One more before we get banned for turning this into a walking forum. :D

Great Pasties in St Just and Cape Cornwall's a decent spot close by too.

This is my neck of the woods! It's a great driving route, especially before all the tourists come and clog it up in the summer  I do it most days of the week as the girlfriend lives in St. Ives and I live in St. Just. Certainly worse places to be :D

When the previous owner said he replaced with standard it looks like he meant SE not Msport. It definetly looks like it's on M sport springs. I take it the the photo was on a flat level surface

Yes flat level surface...... What are my options? Can just change the springs?

Yes just change them for M sport springs. Search ebay for suplex springs. In fact Google the suplex catalogue first to make sure your getting the right part numbers before buying

If / when Alison and I get down to St.Just in the Z4 we will have to arrange a little meet-up and scenic drive :D

Gave it a machine polish with some AF tripple and went over some scratches with some menzerna and a more aggressive pad, come out alright!

Cheers Mark. I am and I'm not, I don't miss how gutless that 177bhp 2.5i was, really enjoying the power of an Si again and I'm actually enjoying the tiptronic box it suits the car well, however sunny Bolton is making me miss it a bit 8)

Shame you couldn't find a 3.0Si Roadster then!

And you might want to update your signature.
