temp wheels clearly, but not the greatest :lol: what's next?
Fitted my replacement centre air vents.
Also fitted newly refurbished 224s and 5mm spacers 8)

Purchased a flat with my other half 8 months ago, it needed tearing back to brick and a full refurb. After 8 months of working on it at the weekends and 1AM finishes in the week I have finally been able to drive the zed over to its new home (notice the nice wide disabled space 
).
The zeds taken a bit of a back seat ride for the last 8 months and only got a basic wash when needed so I can’t wait to get it clayed and waxed. I fitted the outside tap today too ready for regular pampering.

Gave it a much needed wash, as I was quite embarrassed with the dirt and bird crap sitting on the bodywork when Worcester_spoon came to pick up the alloys yesterday :lol:
I appear to have a problem with my bonnet catch, so spent a while trying to fix that. Whilst everything was open, transformer style, I took a quick photo as Instagram loves this sort of thing :lol:

the bodywork drives me insane. Can't wait to get the body panels delivered!Oh and get the flywheel and clutch replaced, as it slips very often now
that'll be done during my summer shutdown.Bit of good luck, Misses had a headache and went to bed early...default bloke time in garage followed. Question I asked myself... now could I change the front pads in 90mins before the sun went down.

Fixed my bonnet catch problem (I think)
Yesterday it took me about 30 attempts to shut the bonnet. Greased it up loads and it managed to shut in the end. I knew this would only be a temp measure until the problem comes back again, so went out and got some degreaser and grease spray.
The amount of crap the came off the locking mechanism was crazy! I then sprayed the latch and lock with lithium grease and it shuts perfectly now. Can't wait to go for a driver and not have to worry about the bonnet popping up anymore :lol:
I was using multipurpose grease before this, which collects a lot of dirt and grit. Hopefully the spray grease will do a better job in the long term.
P. S I know the black painted part around the lock mechanism needs painting. I've already done it once before

Grey... and with a red top. That has to be one of the rarer combinations for the E85. Looks soo good
