Next upgrade ready for refurb 330D calipers with 330mm discs 20190508_134843.jpg

Classic - car parts covered in blood. I’m so clumsy I swear there’s as much blood in my car as copper slip

 its actually transmission fluid but yes does look like blood

MOT’d with no advisories, serviced and brake fluid changed. And then a decent drive afterwards on wet roads. I always avoid driving the z in the wet if poss but as MoT was booked I went for it - forgot how much fun it is when grip is that bit lower. :-)

Looked at it as I walked past to my daily and went off to work... :?

Can't wait for the weekend when I can take it out for a decent cruise around the New Forest! :driving:

Had a towbar reverse into the front bumper :headbang: so I filled the hole and resprayed, come up not too bad!

Like the discs! 325mm tho?

You sending calipers off or doing yourself?

Carparts turned up today. Bloody thing was taller than me  2 front wings and one sideskirt. Hopefully it'll get rid of some of the battlescars on my car

sorry yes 325mm will be doing them myself over the weekend :D

Front end re-spray to get rid of some stone-chips and paint the splitter black. Also replaced the grills with some new ones, as the old were getting tatty.
Had the rear done at the same time.
Very happy with the result

Wasn't too happy with the wings when unpackaging them yesterday. There's a few light scratches and some stone chips which the ebay seller never mentioned :headbang: so I gave them a quick going over with some G3, polish and glaze and they now look much more presentable.

They won't win any awards close up, but are definitely an improvement over my dented and key marked front wings

Hopefully I'll soon have a Z4 that I can drive without hating

Exhaust tips cleaned up well.
Had some pitting on edges which came up well with scotchbrite.
Washed and polished and pleased with lci indicators 😀9E49C3F2-DA47-415A-8044-96EAF6603C7D.jpeg

Both front wings and the passenger side sideskirt replaced today. That's 3 less panels with damage, finally.

Just need to sort out both doors and the rear bumper now

This was the before! Over the years, a lorry, a motorbike and a woman had driven into that wing :headbang:
