Put the car back in the garage until I'm back at work next Thursday.

Noticed I've done less than 100 miles in it in the last month as the Corsa has been used more.

Another  for double spokes. Headlamps  though.

Looks fantastic on those alloys.

The wife bought me a cheap air freshener for the car. For some reason she’s now giving me the silent treatment..... :?

Inherited with the car i'm afraid  though against the midnight blue / black paint i can live with them having the dark inners & a major plus over the stock halogens is these actually work  i can see in the dark :P

Hi Mack
Ccv system is on my to do list in spring
Have a 3.0 also
How did you find the job ? Was it ok ?
And if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the replacement kit from please?
Thanks
I got it all from gsf and also fitted the cold climate version of the ccv. They list 5 pipes on there website but IIRC you only need 4. I used one of their gazillion discount codes which made the cost similar to trade

A quick detail ready for a little jaunt with a few chums in the Peak district :driving: It probably won't look like as shiny this time tomorrow :(20181227_135018.jpg

Enjoy mate! Some awesome roads and plenty of photo opportunities

Well the z is currently at bmw for the rear light cluster to be changed.
Long story, no water ingress, just failure of part of the led strip.
Although a bit dearer, decided to let them supply and fit the cluster and have the 2yr guarantee, knowing these light units seem prone to failure.
Also doing the recall on the battery lead, despite telling me previously there were no outstanding recalls.
Would you like a cursory health check sir?
No thanks I said.
Don’t need any help spending money thanks.
Can do that without you looking for work.
Call me cynical, but had this with main dealers before.
Will the battery lead change over cause any fault codes etc?
They say , no sir, shouldn’t, I say, hope not, as I will be straight back in😀

Managed to get all of the RTAB mounting bolts undone, copper slipped and done back up and torqued today. Puzzled as to why the mechanic said they were seized as they all came undone easily and despite the heads being a bit scabby the threads were in good order!?!? So now I just have to get the driver's side steering arm freed off and I'll be able to get the alignment done

I feel your mechanic did not want to do the job in the 1st place

Exactly what I was thinking

Cleared drains on my MR today... Not so bad but harder in the garage out of the cold. Took 30-45 mins both sides but at least that’s done. Not much blockage either.

Worth doing, to save later headaches. 8)

Also 2 minor upgrades over Xmas:

New BMW mats
New ZHP - Amazing difference.
