What have you done to your car today?

I've got into the habit of using sport mode now, which uses a much more linear throttle map and doesnt adapt itself, much better feeling of control.

Yeah, that makes sense. After the throttle reset it was much better the following day. Then, this morning, a bit lurchy again, but not as bad. Then cleared itself up after a few miles. Seems to be fine in sport mode and normal mode at the moment. Maybe there is something else that needs attention - I had no issues for the first 6 months. Wonder if refreshing clutch fluid would help.

Certainly wouldn't hurt, I'd advise you just do the brakes with it, seeing as they share the same reservoir. 2 birds one stone and all that

New mirror casing gloss black and refurbished alloys from shadow chrome to gloss black. New alloy bolts, Centre caps etc
Tidied up seats, removed red pipping on dash

Just drained all the coolant so I can replace the radiator which was deformed at the top and leaking. I have taken a few picks so when I figure out how to get them up I will post. Wasn't too bad a job. The new rad is in and everything is connected. The drain plug for the block did not get removed as I could just not get anything on to it.

 Wipers fixed. Best £3.98 I could spend on eBay. Can recommend i6 to anyone. They also do the DISA repair kits which I had done on the roadster last year.

Fitted an Eventuri intake bought from mr.tourette in my 3.0si today. Preliminary results are excellent. It will get a proper test tomorrow on a trip to Wales :D

Couldn't resist an opportunity to give the engine bay a good scrubbing. All credit goes to my dad for doing that.

Sorted I drive display :D wheels off ready for polishing tomorrow. I have sorted my double garage so even if it rains the “M” gets a polishing. Tunes on and some quality time with the M :driving: :)

Her car got the love today. The brakes have been bugging me since we bought her A200, so made a start on painting them.

Here's a before pic :o it looks like the previous owner enjoyed using the eastern European car washes, which appear to have ruined the coating on the calipers.

And I forgot to take a finished photo without the wheel on, so this will have to do. They Certainly look a lot more presentable now.

Fitted the Isofix bracket to the passenger seat so that I could finally take my son out in the Zed. He really enjoyed our little outing this afternoon and so did I. A nice little Father’s Day treat! :)

Cheers  I used Hammerite Smooth Silver. I painted my Z4's calipers with it years ago and the finish still looks like new, so decided to buy another tin to do her's.

It is great stuff. I've used caliper paint in the past, made by Foliatec I think, and the brake dust burnt onto the coating and made for a terrible look after just a few months.

The hammerite literally wipes clean

+1  Hammerite Smooth Black Gloss for me. Been using it for years. Never flakes or rusts. Keeps its gloss for ages. :)
