What have you done to your car today?

I spent 2.5 hours trying to get the whippy off, would it unscrew? hell no, its still on there

that's a pain! I am sure you tried using WD40 and other products...maybe you can shorten the whippy and put the small cap on the tip?
(this could be a very bad suggestion, I admit it)

Sometimes previous owners glue them on, or it's just a corrosion thing. Either way, the aerial bases are not too expensive and can be reached from inside the boot - don't keep trying to use force to unscrew it, you can distort the fitting hole in the wing and make matters worse.

Didn't know that, I can see why they would do it. Good advice about getting the whole base removed...
thanks, it is always nice to learn something new

Finally tried my 326’s on my Si and I’m not sold on the look.. A7A0F226-02E2-4961-8DA0-55CCC46A466C.jpeg775F4CB1-A3AE-4426-8FE2-ED0700AF5546.jpeg

What are you unsure about? I rather like the look, although I do love gloss black, I think I would have gone for a graphite grey colour which might have looked better. Just my opinion, but still looks good though

Mines had a full hit valet, decontaminated, buffed and polished! Not bad for 14 years old!

Also got round to fitting my 20mm spacers on the rear
I want some tyres that grip like them
Only just noticed post was 12 months ago (Page 1)

I agree about the grey, the colour of the other wheels I have would be better

I love the 326 wheel but for me the black just disappears into the wheel arch and the wheel is lost

Agree totally, lovely alloys but I think you have to be so careful when choosing black. The wheels are lost and do not pop out at you, that's for sure, which is the opposite of what you were hoping to achieve.

Ordered new hood buffers(with ejectors) today, only $33 for a pair..... pick em up tomorrow. :D

Is this some sort of James Bond mod?
Unfortunately, no. They are the little bumpers under the front of the hood(bonnet) that pop it up and also keep it from vibrating. The ejector seat mod costs $146,000 and is available from Lockheed Martin (not BMW), mine is on order. Trump has cut back on military spending so many more interesting mods will be available soon.... 8)

It’s a standard feature on all new Aston Martins here I believe. :D

Not over here, ours come with deer whistles and if you get the executive package they have a flatdeck truck that follows the car until it breaks down. :(

I wonder if wrapping the roof could cause any mishaps with the operation of the mechanism, some of these things are "delicate" to say the least. Expecting pics ...
