Fitted refurbed MFSW controls - finally! Went with plastic primer and 5-6 coats of black bumper paint. Will have to see how it holds up.

Looks good!

Thanks mate. Definitely a job you only want to be doing once in a lifetime (or paying [ref]Dietcokeman[/ref] to do it for you!).

got up at 3am as the alarm was going off (i've replaced the bonnet switch a few months ago so i don't think it is that) - it's been parked up for 6-7 weeks at my mums as we started some building work, building work is at knock through stage so moved into my mum's .. anyway the battery was almost completely flat. I was in a panic pressing buttons and the passenger window dropped 8 inched (thats 6 if your female and reading this) and then lost all power so couldn't close it again :( shoved a bin liner over the gap to try and keep any moisture out (it stuck to the wet car so didn't need weighting down - result). I did put the trickle charger for a couple of days but i think i let it get too flat so it wouldn't charge... jump started it at 7.30 this morning and let it run for a bit.. will take it for a spin over lunch to see if i can get a bit of charge into it else it'll be a new battery..

Spent all week on the motorway so treated her to a good pampering inside and out today, couldn't be happier driving and cleaning her

Find someone with DIS or Carly software to clear it, DIS is better at diagnostics than Carly but both should sort it.

Fixed the plunger under the bonnet. Took two attempts as the first one wouldn't fit back in the hole

Removed the good one and copied it.

3D printed a new cap and cut 1/2" off the spring as it was way too strong.

Just noticed in the picture they are different, so will have to replace now :x

Can’t beat a gleaming black roadster😀
Took mine out for a good blast today.
Roads a bit manky in Devon today, so all washed and polished on my return.

Third brake light hasn't been working for a while. I've been putting off looking at it because I couldn't be bothered messing around finding the right tools and removing the lamp again. Today I finally decided to tackle it, unscrewed the metal plate in the boot and it turns out I didn't need to remove the lamp at all. The wired connector had come loose, it was a bit fiddly but I was able to reach in and connect it back up without touching the lamp. I have a working third brake light again! And wow it's bright.
