What have you done to your car today?

Driven it down to Newhaven in the Sunshine, I put the roof up whilst paying for my fuel, carried on for the last 15 miles topless and spotted some gulls above, looks like it’s going to be a lucky trip

Glad you had a good drive - but "lucky" isn't the first word I'd think of!

Got my youngest to help polish and wax

Centre console carbon leather fitted with red pinstripes
Oh and 2 sport buttons!!! But far one to be for switching raspberry PI or firestick on or off. Will remove “Sport” wording at some point.

Proper aerial, good man Tidy, just need to get you some wood mate

I've got a nice bit of ply in the boot already!

In anticipation of going onto non-RFTs I bought a 17inch spacesaver on here and the seller had made up a platform for it to sit on to level up with the step in the boot-floor, Velcro to stick to the carpet and a couple of bolts to secure the wheel.

It's about 18 inches square, so I've probably got more wood than you - mine is just a bit less in yer face!

A good idea. I've just got an E46 spacesaver wheel, plus jack, plus folding snow shovel and thrown them all in a wheel bag loose in the boot. I'll see if the rattling drives me nuts.

I don't think it will take too long!

Put the Z4 through the MOT and it passed yet again with flying colours, but it did highlight the fact that i did only manage to cover 117 miles in the last 12 months :tumbleweed:

Criminal! Particularly if the MOT station drive took up a lot of that!

Today I routed my sat nav cable around the back of the dash so you cannot see it, and re-located my MP3 jack plug to under the dash so it is also out of site.

Gave the Zed a service and some maintenance ready for winter including new spark plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, new screen wash, new CCV system, cleaned throttle body, cleaned idle control and a full wash and polish not bad for a weekends work.
Matt.

Fixed the MOT advisory I inherited of.

NSF front brake pipe corroded.

What a bastard of a job.

Everything else I've done on this car I've been thinking this motor is so easy to work on then this struck. Pig of a job.

Then I have an airbag light on now for some reason. Nothing was touched at all. Next job...possibly taking the cluster out and pulling the DMD for it. That'll learn it.

Easy enough to reset that using software.

Sure is. Was hoping to go at least a month of ownership without buying a code reader for it.
