What have you done to your car today?

After 13 years of ownership I got the roof working from the remote (via my local indy).

I don't like to rush into things :)

Bloody hell Sticks, where have you been hiding.

Great to see you on here

My engine seems to have developed a thirst for oil in the colder weather! Odds on it being a clogged CCV system I think, so looking at ordering the replacement cold climate one as, well it is Engand! That and my daily commute is roughly 7 miles each way so better insulated pipes should reduce any future sludge.

Reading about it on an E46 guide and it looks a pain, then I realised the Zed has a huge amount more space down that side of the engine bay. All good then!

Heard the cold climate one can be a pain to install however, due to the insulation on everything. Sure I’ll be able to manage though.

Moved mine near to an external power socket so I can connect the ctek charger as saw specialist yesterday and told I have had 2 TIAs so can't drive for another 2 months have had to contact DVLA and fill out medical forms what a bugger!!!!!

I managed to get the roof motor out and into the boot without taking off the roof it was full of water but managed to save it now safely tucked away in the boot bone dry, wasn’t easy getting in the boot as I’m 6,2 but I got it done.
Matt

Well bored at work on a Sunday so decided to start my template for the wind deflector. So far so good. I’ve done more trimming since the picture, it sits much lower between the seats. Little more and it should be the way I want it.
