What have you done to your car today?

I had the fault code 93DB SIM control unit status undefined. And of course an airbag light on. I have to solve it before MOT.

Today I also fitted the multifunction retrofit cable and got the MF working 8)

I think what Enuff_Zed was saying is that you can get the module out without taken the entire console out. I've removed mine without pulling the console.

I managed by removing the rear section as one piece, then unscrewing the horizontal part but just lifting it enough to access the three bolts. But if you were doing other stuff at the same time then it was worth taking it all out. Usually find a few coins under there too.

Well it's not that much more work to get the central console out when you have to release it to be able to lift it anyway.

Interestingly I couldn't manage to get the coin tray behind the handbrake out. I gave out before breaking it.

CSL Replicas were made in 18s. I sold a "square" set to another forum member in 2019.

I was thinking to get 18" CSLs, but didn't like that fat center.

Full brake refresh on drivers side and repainted 1 of 4 calipers.

Just the other side to go.. then to fix a dead battery before putting her back on the road.

And a wash... So much algae.

Had 2 new back tyres fitted today. Need to be careful for a couple of hundred miles now. Told that the left front is 3mm and the front right front is 5mm, seems odd as they would have been bought at the same time. Perhaps I drive around right handers faster than left handers

Hi Sean, a friend who is selling one of his Z4MC has put his back to stock so I bought most of his parts including Stromungs, CSL wheels, gloss black grills, Carbon spoiler lip, Weichers Sport strut brace and filter.
