What have you done to your car today?

Car went in for MOT and 4 wheel alignment today. Passed MOT no trouble or advisories, :thumbsup: but although lots of numbers changed on the alignment sheet it feels the same. Anyone know from the photo what has changed please as it feels the same to me apart from the steering possibly feeling a little heavier.4 wheel alignment.jpg

[ref]jock156[/ref], that looks ace! Especially like the matching halos between the headlights and front fogs. Great look :thumbsup:

They do look good with the hardtop... EBay watch started.

[ref]True-Blue[/ref], I feel your pain regarding the toughness of the Z’s paint :?

Jeez. That's an amazing finish. I thought you'd taken a picture of the roof storage of your garage through the engine bay or something at first. I was most confused until I realised it was the reflection... You'll need true pilot sunglasses when driving that on a sunny day!
Yep, worth the effort though;

I had a black one previously which was on for about 20 minutes. I didn't have the special locking tool (which I didn't know about!).

Cue a black hard top about 50 feet in the air as I joined a dual carriageway about 60-70 MPH! :o :o :o WHOOOOSSSSHHHHHHH! FFS!

No damage done (other than my pride), and a bit to the front of a van travelling behind me and a long queue of traffic as I and the van driver ran back to scrape it off the road onto the embankment.

Hence having Jingle around this time to make sure! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Washed it, then went for an afternoon drive. Visited the upholsterer first for a project next juli on the Zed, then a quick check in at the bodyshop for the aero skirts. Primed today, colour later this week. Exciting times ahead!

Took the scenic route everywhere just to make the most of a lovely day

Looking great Barty. Have you thought about colour coding the side reflectors? Can’t help think they are just a distraction from that stunning colour!
If the skirts are getting painted then surely they will have enough spare to do them too?

[ref]Phippy[/ref], thanks for the compliments! Certainly have thought about it, but then I’d combine it with the front bumper work when that’s due. Seriously considering the M-bumper for later this year. One problem though, is that I think the side reflector is mandatory for our MOT. Something to figure out.

Ahh that's annoying if so... luckily not required in the UK, at least i hope not as got mine painted last week!!
Fingers crossed you get away with it... the M doesn't have it though :?
