Was great meeting you today Neil. A lovely car that looks even better now with the piano black.

Just needs some Aeros now.

See how this goes only £60 on a Saturday morning and a full adjustment. If I don't like it i will just go back and have it adjusted until I do.

Wow, that is an amazing price. I paid just over £90 for a 4-wheel alignment that only changed toe.

Where is that garage? Up north?

It’s all out of spec though, or is that how you wanted it setup?

His full address is on the top of the spec sheet, and compared to down South he is up North in Grimsby just off the end of the A180 so dead easy to get to as the M1 or A1 feeds into the M62 and the M18 that then goes to the M180/A180

The standard tracking cost is one hours labour if you want custom adjustments you need to book a longer time slot as the ramp is the tracking/MOT ramp so time limited, My car was on the ramp for 90 mins and was with he tech that did the work (had to sign in to be in the workshop) and had a look under the car at the same time.

They will set it up however you want it

I supplied some shims to move the camber att the front-end wanted it slightly toe out at the front they recommended the rear settings will see how it feels

They have a large experience with E46 race crass well

Was quoted £180+ vat for a full adjustment in Manchester so that covers the fuel cost.Just a shame it is dull Motorway all the way both ways.

Love those wheels and love that interior now. Extended banana!

Not what I was thinking trying to get the knee pads off though

Slip something up behind them and press around the edges. They will pop out quite easily.

I’m guessing this tip would have been more useful last week? :D

Done the job before a few times, but trying to slip a card up between two pieces of leather isn’t easy as it doesn’t slide like a normal plastic transmission tunnel being extended leather, and I was also extremely worried about causing any damage.

Lovely drive accross Dartmoor this afternoon, after a 24 mile walk. :driving: Home quick wash and dry and tucked up until the next time. :D

I have the Dartmoor Highground Marathon coming up. 31st August.

http://www.dartmoorhighground.com/marathon-route

Today was a training run, hid a few LTRs of water at the half way point. Meant I could travel lighter from he start. Just over 1 mile of assents today too. The last climb up Yes tor from the very bottom, is a beasting. Took me just under 7 hours today. Perfect cool conditions though, may be hotter/slower, on race day.
