What a difference new bushes and wheel alignment makes

I'm shocked at the difference having powerflex bushes fitted and wheel alignment done has made. I didn't trust the car before this was done now it feels a millions times better going around corners and bends.

Also recommend ditching the run flats as the majority of people do on here too. The ride definitely isn't as harsh with normal tyres.

I had anti roll bars front and rear and front wishbone done.
Laser Alignment was £39
3 x sets of bushes around £36 /£40 each set
£60 fitting
All at demon tweaks Wrexham.

That's mega cheap :D

Well documented just how much changing the bushes and lollipops alongside a good alignment makes.

After all most of these cars are give or take 10 years or give or take 75k

Pleased you like the difference

My cars last MOT Dec 14, had 2 advisory items, front brake pads (ordered) and nearside front (rear bush) suspension arm has slight play in a pin/bush. What parts do i need to replace the worn items on both sides ? if i can order them as well it makes it easier when i take the car to my local garage if i have the right parts in the boot ready to go on

100% do both sides

Bushes are about £50-£60 for the pair powerflex which will need to be pressed into the holder (uprated)

New Lollipops which are bushes and holders are around the same price Stick with Merle or Lemforder these will not need pressing in (standard/heavy duty option)\

Hope this helps

Wouldn't happen to have a link to the right bits would you ? (having ordered the wrong cables for sending my Sky signal to the tv in the kitchen over Xmas, I'd rather not get these wrong.)

Is where i got mine and had fitted. They post parts out too.

It was £40 an hour fitting. I had anti roll bar bushes front / rear fitted the same time i had rear tyres replaced. Car felt better but still twitchy so had the wishbones replaced and it's these that made the real difference along with alignment.

Stupid question incoming... are those pre pressed bushes priced for a pair (enough for both sides) or do i need to order twice ? please feel free to snigger :D

Mine came in pairs as a set. Anti roll bar front set anti roll bar back set. Wishbones front set. £40 odd each set.

Mine didn't come with metal holders like the eBay ones so demon tweaks had to get the old ones out and squeeze the new ones in. I think they go in easier than they come out.

Just remember guys to consider if you want to go OEM. Upgraded Oem such as Meyle HD or poly.
Oem is what it came with (of course). Meyle are updated, but still have the like of oil filled bushes. Poly is just a lump of plastic with little flex.

Decide if you want ride and comfort, improved oem or harder poly...

Some love poly, but I fitted them and removed very soon as it was harsh and groaned on speed bumps.
Meyle hd for me every time...
