VT2 upgrade kit started :-)

why not drill your dash and have some boost guages inserted.

that looks too halfords for me.

will you have a boost controller to change as you go? i dont know if you operate the supercharger the same as a turbo
 
Wouldn't the LeatherZ guage kit be more suitable?

N yeh I've read the z4m ess s/c article in pb, very nice to the underbonnet shots, makes the engine bay just porn worthy, bear in mind this is the previous generation kit, mine is the latest gen 2 vt kit. 3 days till fitting, I mite even get the car back tuesday midday if I'm lucky!!!

Can't wait for the reviews on this. Only 3 days to go mate, its not even my car going in and am v excited god only knows how you must feel... great work.
 
I'm just praying for a safe journey, both ways please lord!! Lol the cameras fully charged, this charger completly deletes the maf, so idle should be crazy smooth, with alittle charger whistle.. ;-) praying the car is as civialised as stock. Right now I'm alittle nervous tbh . Fingers crossed for me please guys!

Have to admit, every time I boot it in 4th now & wait for the revs to wind up, in the back of my mind I'm wondering how it would go after spending that 5k.

I slightly underestimated the 5k figure, not much but it's over, total costs now stands at 5750 including mapping and fitting, still a bargain IMO.

yeh i agree kryton, im just trying to be as accurate as possible incase anyone else wants to have a go, i should imagine with the group buy price and the 20% vat this kit could well run nearly 7k, so guys whos interested, see how i get on and maybe get your order in asap, you wont get the group buy but at least youll miss the vat increase.

whats even cooler about this kit is imo it looks like a stock engine, only the educated will know once the bonnets lifted. very impressive stuff ess!!! weekends nearly here 2.5 days to go......................................... roman, stop teasing!! :-)
 
Awwww I'm excited for you man.. told a few people about it.. (which probably means I'm convincing myself in the process)...

What time you doing the trackday on Sunday? Might come say hello.. can't join you really as I'm on a Stag do & doubt I'll be up that early.
