EDIT - 06/08/2013

I have now put my car back to standard to sell. The suspension is off the car and ready to go to a loving home. The coilovers have covered literally a couple of thousand miles max. no knocks, no bumps and a great coilover. The adjustable dampers are brilliant for those wanting to adjust comfort depending on usage.

Lower arms no longer included so looking for £450-500, can courier for small additional charge if required.

Good chance to grab yourself a good set of coilovers which are usually very expensive for this car!

For all details please scroll to the bottom of this link for the correct car:
coilovers with 36 way adjustable damping (http://www.japshop.co.uk/acatalog/BMW-D2-RACING-SHOP.html) to fit 3.0 6 cylinder E85/86

Many thanks,
Chris

Sorry to drag back an old thread but the decision has now been made to sell the car - the coilovers are off, cleaned and ready for a buyer.

They've covered a couple of thousand miles from new maximum.

The lower arms are no longer included in this sale so looking for 450-500 - open to close offers.

Great chance to grab yourself a bargain on some good coilovers which are not usually cheap for this car!

Please PM me for any questions as i get notification to my email address.

many thanks,
Chris

Bump! Can't believe nobody wants a good set of coilovers for a fraction of the normal cost, these are basically new! Done less than 3k miles. Pictures to follow in the next few days

Yes £630 as per the link. So at £450 it's a very good saving seeing as they are practically new!

Monkey has already bought a set, I hadn't been on here for a while so hadnt seen his post! Car has now gone so these are just sitting around waiting for a new home!

Cheers,
Chris

Seems a fair price. :)

Timing sucks for me though! :(

Just shelled out for alloys! :headbang:

Instalments?! Lol.

Good luck with the sale.

Pete

Pics to come in the next few days! Instalments wouldn't bother me to be honest but I don't know you from Adam so would have no guarantee!!! Haha

Maybe potential buyers are put off because they're not new, yet 'only' saving about 30% off new.

We know they've only got 3000 miles on them, but I can't see any mention of how many months/years are on them.

A 30% saving for 3 month & 3000 mile old dampers sound good as I assume they'd still have 9 months warranty left.

However, if they're 9-12 months old, or bought from an unofficial source then there'll be no warranty, and I'd prefer to pay the extra £200 and get new dampers with a full 12 month warranty.

Not much different to my aunty. She's not got much boyfriend mileage on her, but at 60 she's not exactly new either :P

Haha fair point. There about 6 months old and bought from the same place as I've supplied a link to, therefore there is still some warranty and I will check how much!

How much? For your aunty. Does she come with a warranty? Any pictures? :P
