Don't have Sat Nav in my 3.0si
But I'm the one who took 3 hours to adjust the clock to Daylight Savings Time ..
So Ill defer nano electronics to the rest of them here.
Best of Luck ...

You can't eject the map DVD?
ranski said:Have you tried putting the key in 1st position/click with the driver door open
If that doesn't work then I would try 2nd position/click with the driver door open
If that also doesn't work I would give the firmware DVD a good clean
ranski said:If in doubt disconnect car battery for 15mins, reconnect, then repeat update steps
If still no cigar then I would say the firmware DVD is buggered
Stuart Truman said:IIRC the f/w disc is supposed to be a CD and not a DVD. Position 1 is the first click when the nav screen pops up before the ignition light comes on.
Stuart Truman said:I'll be doing mine tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
Stuart Truman said:I've downloaded an ISO image for the f/w. I think the one sent with the map disc was v32.2 which I don't want. If it woks I'll mail you the CD or the link if you can burn your own CDs
Stuart Truman said:Check whether it's v32 (official) or v32.2 (hacked) before you start. Personally there is no way I'd put hacked f/w on my car
Stuart Truman said:OK. Just done mine. 5 mins from start to finish. I have a good standard v32 ISO image and as I no longer need the CD, happy to post it to anyone having a problem. Just post it onto the next person that needs it. Pay it forward and all that.
One question that's not meant to be insulting; You are creating a CD with Nero or Magic ISO etc and not just copying the ISO file to a CD are you?
To check if you have v32, go to the main screen on the nav system, select "SET" and look on the top right of the screen. You'll see 4-1/00 if you have v32.
THIS link has a lot of info on the different versions.
