Sorry to hear that Starkers, was this completely out of the blue?
I know two people that have had fits and were unable to drive, both of them are now back on the road and controlling the fits with tablets.
On the road...
Im sure that doesnt apply to the odd track day.. Infact with the money you'll save on tax and insurance, etc perhaps you could manage one a month ?
Hi stark - one door closes and all that....chin up mate and make something good come out of it. Want a lift to the English/welsh meet if my missis won't come. I'm from the southcoast but I still appreciate the london meet you arranged and therefore I owe you one.
If it's any help to put in perspective, my best friend was told an hour ago that his cancer can't be cured and he's got 6 weeks (max) to live.
What happened ? Have i missed a chapter out ? I thought it was "M" time on the horizon :?
Hope all is well other than the 12 month abstinence from driving
On the plus side, you WILL recover, and it is totally possible to control fits with the right medicine. Might take them a while to get it right, but they will. And actually, if you sell the car and save the proceeds plus all the money you'd have spent on it you can reward yourself next year with a proper nice car. Chin up mate
