Really? Falkens are doing fine on my lowly 3.0, not sure why they wouldn't on the M. Let's face it, we're not talking about pushing a car to it's limits on a track here (unless the OP is, in which case I take it back). I've had Falkens on my last two motors and rate them very highly, in fact higher than their more expensive counterparts. You can't argue with £590 fitted for four new tyres, and that's 265/30/19 rear & 235/35/19 front.
An M has 343hp do the sensible thing and put some premium tyres on. I had a 320si and changed from pilot sports to 452s and thought they were crap in comparison. Why do you think all Ms come with premium tyres. Stupid not putting them on an M. Falkens are fine for more mid range vehicles the M is not mid range.
In my experience most new cars come with "premium" tyres.
Well just have to agree to disagree, and if I'm ever lucky enough to own a performance car then maybe I'll comment again.
