As I promised I will give some update.
Short version, I will be driving a 911.1 C2S from tomorrow afternoon.
Long version, things were not quite as originally planned. I received phone call from the dealer in the morning that the car I was looking at was sold yesterday, which means I need to find another one. Luckly, I have a second choice and the only reason it's not my first choice was purely due to the price being slightly higher but car is 2 years newer and has slightly higher spec. Thus, straight after the phone call from first car's dealer, I called the second car's dealer and they were able to let me try the car and discuss further today. What happened next was simple. Went there, viewed, test drove the car. Both my wife and I love the car. She enjoyed sitting in there and I enjoyed driving it. Natually, next step was the negotiation. Ended up knocked off another 2k off the price which is already 4.5k off from the original list price in July, and they gave my z4 £32k valuation which is not bad I think. Bonus points are the car has full car PPF applied already (not since the car was new though, and not to the highest quality I've seen so far. but better than nothing imo), and I will get 2 years and 11 months (basically, 3 years) porsche warranty with the car. On the other hand, the downside is that as the car is 10 years old now, the next service in 2 years will be a major one plus PDK fluid and drive belt replacement, which I think will be super expensive at OPC. But I think I will have 2 years to see what I want to do with the car, either keep it and service it at specialist, or sell it, so I decided i can accept this downside. So yeah, made the deal, will pick it up tomorrow.
The spec of the car is 2014 911 C2S PDK Coupe in Sapphire Blue Metallic outside and Agate Grey/Pebble Grey two-tone leather inside. It comes with sport design steering wheel, Sport Chrono Package, Sports exhaust system, Sports seats Plus, sunroof, bose sound system, 911 turbo wheel in black.
When I pick it up tomorrow, I will certainly take some photos of both car. I will post it here as well. Thanks for all the comment, advice, feedback people provided so far. Special thanks to [ref]tomscott[/ref], [ref]pvr[/ref]
