Toyota Supra V8 build

Been reading that blog over lunch - pretty funny guy, your mate. :D The bell house mating is ridiculous... I didn't even know that was something you cold do, but it seems to be quite common in the hardcore mod scene.

Yeah he is a good lad Chris. And we both have a mutual love of KFC.

It has been done before. We are not trail blazers. Not a massively common thing as you do need quite a broad skill base. And a fair few big machines to do it with...

Always loved a supra. Can't wait to see this finished. Saw one in a tech car park last week untouched. Must be rare standard.

Got to love a man with a big machine :P

wow loving this build! awesome stuff on the gearbox, it's hard to find someone to take on a mating, seems a pig of a job. What wheels are they, they're stunning can't wait to see the finished beast :D

It's not something Chris or I could have done without each other. I know about the fabrication he knows bout the mechanicals. It took much thinking and checking but wasn't that bad!!

I will check what they are bug he got a hell of a good deal!

Well after a few trying and difficult weekends. The engine is in and has been started. Its been cold and miserable in our barn on a hill workshop recently. The project had got to that point where everyone had run out of enthusiasm. But a guy called Ben turned up and spent the weekend wiring in the ecu.

Chris and I had a late night 1.30 making and welding stuff Friday. I then had some sad news about our poorly cat and couldn't help the guys anymore this weekend. But they do have the engine in and running. Ben is coming back i believe this weekend. And i haven't spoke to Chris yet but i think i have a few things to make and mod for him in the evenings this week.

After that i think the car is and will be about ready for final putting together.

i havent been on here in a while, its good to see the supra getting there Matt! I see you've been doing work on the zed too  we'll have to catch up soon

Hopefully very soon it will be finished.
And I can spend more time on the zed. Sure thing mate just say when. Let's do a warm midlands meet?!?!

Sounds fantastic! Very envious of having the time/space/skills/funds for a project like this!
