I loved the 1M feature, good race with the Cayman R

for a split second i did think was it time to sell the zed and the golf and just have 1 vehicle :!:

I actually thought it was qt good this week...was qt funny at times ,and the 1ser m-coupe test was good/as was the e-type jag tribute, etc, etc.

(i do think some past episodes have been too silly and boring though)

I thought the tribute to the E type was really good. Filling an old village with E types was real neat

1M will also p*ss off a few Prorshe and Lotus owners now

1-Series M Coupe is a real bargain (£40k) when comparing to Cayman R and Evora.

BMW may make a M for E89 when its new model is due, just like the 1-Series.

Yes it will up to 1/4 mile, then they will be laughing as they pull away :driving:

It could be seen as they reached the 1/4 mile mark both the Cayman and Lotus were catching up fast

Ah ramblings of a defeated Porshe lover! :P

I'm not siding with any of them, but by 1/4 mile in most situations it's all over and the 1'er would be at the front of the line.

Notice how Clarkson got around calling the Porsche by its homophobic term a Gayman, and instead a Cockster :)

i will take back everything i said about the 1M. It was amazing opn TG ! I was expecting JC to slag it off.

Wheeler Dealer is the best program on tv at the moment ( only my opinion ), wish they'd make more of them though, sick of repeats, must have watch the Ferrari 308 episode 15 times now.

and watch mike brewer get approximately £500 profit on a car, after working on it for a week?
I would prefer that they got a properly wreck of a car, and brought it to a showroom standard...and sod the profit.

Mike Brewer has all the negotiating skills of a man with a gun to his head telling the gunman that his mother ***** ****
That said, it would probably good to buy a car from him.

I do like what Ed China does with the cars though, and I have the series on constant record on Sky +

But I do also have Top Gear on record. Fifth gear is a bit too serious for me. I only think about buying a car on average every three years, so watching a programme to decide what car is best is a bit pointless. I much rather people just have fun with cars.

Compared to the north american Top Gear it's friggin brilliant..... be thankful. The Beeb is one of the best channels I have , and I have lots on my satellite

I take it you did not see the time/car just above the M1 on the board? ......yes it was the Boxster Spyder :thumbsup:/quote]

Lightweight (and ugly with the "roof" up!!) 2 seater sports car so not the same car really!

Give a normal UK A or B road and that Series 1M would just dissapear! :P
