Have You used studio-flash for outdoor pictures? Or You have made them with just ambient (enviroment) lighting?

The high key pics were shot with two off camera flashes and the sun high in the sky to get the effect. The darker detail shots were taken in my garage, flash set on full in the middle of the day camera set to ISO100 and the aperture closed all the way to F22 so non of the daylight would register then set the flash on full power which gives that high key studio look with light fall off. :thumbsup:

Reason being a portable studio set up starts at about £1000 for one light and battery to £5000 for a full set up. But you can get similar effects if you work with multiple flash and use high key sunlight which really is a no no in normal shooting because it creates harsh shadow but a bit of fill creates miracles.

Obviously makes it easier that the Z is small, if a bigger scene/subject it makes life more difficult with more complex lighting set ups as the flash output is quite small and the range is also small. Flash even with diffusers or soft boxes are still quite direct because of range they need to be close, just working out the best way to use the gear you have. Amazing what you can do with such a small amount of gear.

Been wanting to go traveling for a few years and also like we were PMing moving into a job a little more interesting. I have an 8 month gap until my next wedding after August I am going to do that photo tour I've been talking about. Then come home and move down south, Manchester or London not decided yet, but quitting the job and doing something is the first step, then finding another job when I get back.

Comes a time you have to take a risk and that time, for me is soon :camera:
 
We'll best of luck with it all. Shame to see the M go but needs must. Yours is a car of a select few that would severely tempt me back into the 4MC saddle :driving:
 
Shame you're selling up Tom! But, it will release a good chunk of equity and I doubt you will have lost a penny, and you might even gain a fair few. If you're thinking of selling any parts then I'll keep an eye out
 
Thanks, it is a shame to see it go. I could probably just about keep it but think its time to move on had 3 good years of ownership.

Well il get a for sale thread up in good time so you can take a shifty ;)

I don't think there will be any parts, going to keep the CSLs for the future as they're so hard to find! All the rest are going to go with the sale :thumbsup:

Yours is one of a small group of Zeds I'm sure we all look up to as incentives to have our Zeds at their best - a great example of the marque. Someone is going to get themselves a terrific Zed. :thumbsup:

very nice car, very nice pictures man! some one will get a cracking car, especially if you sell the pictures with the car!
