To good to be True? Why is 3.0si more ££ than M?

Just check the service history properly before you hand your money over otherwise the warranty will be worthless.

I quite like the Sepang interior. Don't debate it for too long or it'll be gone.

I test drove this car back in March, was not too bad, needed plenty of work, but its obvious the dealer has now brought it up to standard. My only worry was the parking sensors + badly curbed wheels... You got a much better deal than they offered me, even though I haggled hard. Enjoy. It drives really nice, and the service is immaculate.

Oh! and it apparently belonged to John Terry's neighbours wife.. I'm serious when I say the dealer said that to try to convince me to buy the car. :-o

Dread to think of what John Terry might have done in it then :| :D

Amazing what people will say to try make you buy something....

"Black Special Edition" spring to mind?

Is this too much of an issue as I'm buying from BMW main dealer? Presumably it will have FBMWSH or they wouldn't sell with warranty or sell the car at all?

Haha one of those John Terry's neighbours dogs cousins boyfriends mother stories!! Classic. If its true though and Terry's been in it think I'll ask them to put clingfilm over the seats!

Think the wheels have been refurbished from what he said but what was the issue with the sensors?

Cheers nice to know it drove well seen as I'll be driving 400 miles after work on Friday to collect!

As said, the running in service and other things were done bang on milage.

My issue was that it had parking sensors, I don't personally like the look of them on the bumper, also, made me wonder what kind of person would need them on such a small car (Well, John Terry's neighbours wife does obviously!) :D

Just spent 30 entertaining minutes reading this 'handbags at dawn' thread. Great work all - it'd be boring if we were all the same. Anyway, good choice OP.

Did someone promise to send some pics of their girlfriend's t!ts???

BMW dealers will sell cars AUC that have not been serviced to schedule. I know as the first ///M I bought hadn't been serviced for 2 years and 8 months making the warranty worthless. Luckily I noticed and rejected the car. It transpires that AUC is just a guide and if a dealer believe the car is OK they will sell it.

There are other cars on the AUC site with rep wheels, again they should not be sold like this ans BMW won't cover any issue with these wheels.

Well after an overnight stay in Carlisle ( :( ) and a 7hr journey back to Cardiff from Glasgow the M is finally with me :). Looked even better up close, body work had a few scratches on but manager got the the shop to spend an hour detailing and it looked almost new. Tiny scratch on one side which was a bit deeper and manager even offered to pay for Cardiff BMW to sort in their bodyshop! After 400 miles the only issue I'm having is with driving smoothly which I guess will come with practice. 1st-2nd-3rd im finding quite difficult to get smooth but changing at v.low revs seems to work but the engine just loves to rev!

It's quite sunny here in Cardiff so will probably take her out for a drive today and maybe take some pics. Stupid question but how do I get pics from my iPhone to the forum? I failed last time, sorry I'm unless with computers!

Mine kangarooed for the first couple of days till I got used to it. Even harder in sport mode.

By far the easiest way to surf the forum and add photos on the iphone is by using the tapatalk app.

Here you go. A quick pick right now in Costa Coffee.

We all been on the angry juice today???

At present all Z4s seem pretty good value for money. THe 'M's in particular due to the additional running costs.

Buying one with an 'M' on the boot ( or hatchback :poke: ) is really an emotional decision. You're a petrolhead, it's your hobby and interest, you bore others with tales of BHP, brakes, ring times, 0-60 blah blah... It's an iconic badge on premium brand, very fast, great looking and if you get the chance to own one you should take it. :)

hey, if mine is hatchback your one is a filip flop then:)))) :poke:

congrats on getting the m, your going to love it, had mine a month, yes , i'm going to bang on again .... ready, CDV, chuck it in the bin asap will sort out the gear change and smooth driving issues, then enjoy.
