Thoughts of selling my Zed :(

Its no use downgrading to another Z....

If you use your M so little it will hardly save you anything....Maybe a £10-£20 a week if that, unless you want to free up the money that you have in the car ?

If you already own it and dont have to pay finance on it,just keep it,love it and within 12 months you wont even believe that you have thought of selling it..

The Zs a small amount to pay with the smiles it gives. For the price they sell for it's not worth it.

Carol talks sense Ruby, sell the Zed to release some capital. For starters the extra unecessary expense is a weight off your mind especially if your subconciously worrying about new home ownership. The Zed is only a car at the end of the day, you can take stock in a year or twos time and maybe get another one :)

Those that say keep it don't necessarily have any financial worries.

Oh and stay single, you might end up with some leech of a guy

Tim.

You knew what answers you were going to get on here, its a zed forum!
(Apart from off the sensible ladies!)

Ok sell your body to release capita??

Is that the answer you're after caro?? :P

To be honest owning 2 cars is a pain and extra admin, trying to get better insurance quotes this year was time consuming then sorting the MOTs, services etc. My stack of paperwork has gone up since homeownership and if there's one thing I hate its paperwork. I need a PA.

Why was she so quick she was a 2L? :?

Cos I drove her like a bellend...and she was just so chuckable
Had a race with dan (who doesn't use the forum anymore) from 30-100 and it was close (he swears he didn't know it was a race but hey ho)

I had to stop the convoy we were in somewhere in welsh hills cos the brakes were hot as hell

HArd position to be in- draw up a spreadsheet and work out in real terms if you can afford to keep it. Houses always seem expensive when you first buy but really cost only fractionally more than renting. You managed to save to buy the house while owning the z so if you are careful you should be able to keep her. Just don't do anything rash.

First time for everything

I agree with Paddy - do some maths, then decide. If the Z has to go then it has to go. It'll find a home on here and you can always get another in the future when you have your own private practice and a pile in the Surrey countryside. Even if that's your husband's

All I'd say in favour of keeping her is to be sure, really sure, before you do the deed

Is presume there is

an X5 and Z4 at the same time is just common sense.xl file tucked away somewhere paddy ?

Ok sensible head on- why not get rid of both and get a diesel 1 series coupe for approx similar money to the M ?

X5 will be delivered to Sytners tomorrow for pick up after work! :driving: YEY!

Whatever you decide to do Rubes dont disappear from here!

Your priorities do change when you become a home owner, and sadly money can only be spent once! If only we were as well paid as the Daily Mail makes out :poke:

Dont do anything rash, the first few months like others have said are the worst as money just seems to vanish into nothing at a scary rate but after a while things settle and you can start making plans and your priorities will become clearer.

We could always start a petition to persuade HMRC to let us at least claim the tax back on our exams :headbang: !
