I have to admit that I do one day per week (typically 9.00am - 4.00pm) as a technical consultant at a major power company, about all I can do these days. Keeps the mind ticking over and the extra bit of dosh on top of my various pensions is useful :thumbsup:
 
Thanks to all, I knew it would cause some debate but not quite expected this much :rofl:

So when it comes down to it, it seems that I need to drive the beast tomorrow to decide. Must admit the allure of the 35is with all of its toys and pops and bangs is very very tempting.

So I will let you know whether I decided to go manual or DCT/ Auto (or whatever you want to call it :lol: )

Thanks all for your comments. And yes I have had to experience that 4 letter dirty word myself today (work) so that I have enough fuel to get to Sunderland tomorrow.

Sharon, do you want me to put the lid back on this can of worms.

You know how I feel about Autos / DCT's etc. I am an old fashioned manual man but for commuting, you may want something a little more relaxing. Before taking the plunge, you may also want to look a Broadspeed and see if they can do you a deal on a new car.

That is a heck of a discount but when you bring it up to the same spec as the one I am looking at it will cost me an arm, a leg and both of Ian's kidneys :rofl:
 
I have to admit bias in favour of autos ,
My cars are both autos and is Mrs k's

My previous Zed was a manual but when the change to a new one came - an auto was top of the list.
