Certain people on this forum have stated they are pro choice and society should not force them to have a vaccine they do not want. Yet they rabbit on and on producing all sorts of "facts and arguments" showing us why we are wrong trying to influence us why we should not have the vaccine. These idiots can not and will not take any notice of anyone. They are transfixed in their opinions and we are all wrong.

The best course of action is to ignore them and get on with our lives and let them reap the consequences of their choices.

Are you calling me an idiot Nanu?

I thought people were just having a healthy debate? Sorry if that hurts your feelings if other people have a different viewpoint than you.

Other than the American chap I don't see anyone on here that doesn't want you to have a vaccine and I would say I have followed this tread with interest.

If there’s a perceived danger do you think the government should keep quiet about it or do you think they should inform the population?
Rob

I don't know. I think if it's a fact then perhaps be stronger with the wording?

They equally "could" not be super spreaders.

I think it's very sensationalised journalism. The papers seem to like to go a bit OTT when it comes to selling papers/getting clicks.

Or is it just me?

It stopped being a debate a LOOOONG time ago and progressed to rants endlessly defending each position. Don't think there is anything more to add....if the 'pro vaxers' are right the virus will disappear and the 'anti vaxers' will eventually die of something they could have been immunised against....problem solved.

Have to be careful how to answer this as because if 36 to 55 goes as fast as 17 to 36 then I will be having afternoon naps and eating werthers before I know it! :o

Just booked my Jab for the 15th.

The centre is just half a mile away. For my essential journey i will go the long way round

Some of my neighbours have been contacted by the NHS on Friday calling them in for their jab and they are 53 & 57. Looks like in this are at least we are well on target to all adults being offered at least the first jab before the summer which is great news. For those that refuse, they can go to the back of the queue and it will be even sooner for us all that want it to have our second. I get my second first week in May, my wife 3 weeks later. Just in time for our hols booked first week in July.

In a word, Yes. But it's your choice to be an idiot should you want to

That's nice. Thank you.

My 2nd jab is at sometime before April 29th - No holiday booked as yet - normally it’s Germany each year but it seems their vaccination regime isn’t good.
It might be some U.K. trips this year.

Don't you pro-vaxers be traveling abroad and bring back these variants to the UK.

"It's not about you it's about mankind" :poke: :D

On that point, I will agree with you 100%. It cuts both ways for both sides of the argument.

Germany’s vaccinations are way behind the U.K. -
I won’t be going anywhere until I feel happy even after having had my jabs.

Well that's the thing. Just because you have had the jab doesn't mean that you can't carry it or get ill off it. The science is there and a holiday is a bit selfish- especially when it's unsafe to vaccinate kids at the moment so you are putting them at risk. B0llocks to the "pro choice" people- they can catch it but what about the kids, pregnant woman and the people that can't vaccinate due to health reasons?

Holidays aren't essential really are they? You should all wait until everyone that wants the vaccine can have it.

BTW I am joking here. It never ends until we look at it logically and statistically.

The numbers are looking great. Going to be alot of positives over the next couple of weeks with these lateral flow false positives and kids mixing again but I suspect the deaths will keep heading in the right direction.

We will all be free soon. :driving:
