I know your Grandmother has just gone into care recently and I know this must be a stressful situation for you - but wouldn’t you like to think everyone who enters her accommodation is vaccinated and indeed has the docs to confirm it? I know I would.

We owe it to each other to keep each other safe.

Slightly worrying mentality this, will we make those that arent vaccinated wear some sort of identifier? Gold star maybe?

You want to work as a doctor or a dentist in the UK? You need a Hep B vaccination. When I was an undergraduate you also needed a TB vaccination.
What's the difference between that and CV19?

That's a career path choice, don't want to have those don't be a dentist :idunno:

My partners grandmother.

I would rather that the people were tested before work and not visiting multiple sites as apposed to forcing a vaccine on the care workers. I don't require nor think it's ethical to insist that anyone who doesn't want to take the vaccine to have it. Ideally I would pay care assistants to live in for the next 3-4 months and box these places off to protect the residents (should have bee done from day one).

Strange concept (I know it might sound a bit wacky and against the tide) but I am safe buddy and pretty much everyone under the age of 55 who doesn't have any medical conditions are- you don't need to keep me safe. Keep yourself fit and healthy, have your vaccine (should you chose to) and you can get your risk level to near levels of an unvaccinated healthy 36 year old.

In my opinion the greatest risk to the under 55's (with no medical conditions) from Covid is having our futures destroyed by the restrictions put in place to save the elderly.

This doesnt make sense.... Vaccine doesnt prevent you carrying and spreading the virus

My mother works in the care industry and had been pressured into taking the vaccine, it wasnt overt (as it often isnt) it was subtle suggestive statements around the future employment and opportunities of those that are vaccinated

This is a hellish route we are going

Come on mate. Lets not let facts get in the way of a narrative.

The stats look to be going I the correct direction - any suggestions why that should be ?

-The elderly/vulnerable are getting vaccinated and not dieing from covid as much
-We have come to the end of flu season so there will be less seasonal deaths in the old and the vulnerable

The country is locked indoors again, flu/cold season is coming to an end, everyone is wearing masks and the people that actually are at risk are being vaccinated
