That end of a PCP feeling

At my age I would just appreciate being alive in another 20 years time!
I will worry about my car then.

I thought you said the G29 was not exciting. Like driving a 3 series. So I was surprised when you said you were going to buy one.

Looking at it as long term comfy cruiser car rather than a weekend thrasher Steve, plan is to keep it years for just that.

Sadly, not as much as you’d think

We sold my mum’s car not so long ago, it was 10 years old had been serviced every year at the main Supplying dealer, never driven in the rain, never used in the winter as she spent every winter in a cruise to Oz and then three months on the Gold Coast .. come to think of it she was away most of the summer as well

Is sat in a heated garage, on a ctek, under a cover for most of its life

It had 6k mikes on it .. in 10 years

Fair enough it was only a Corsa, top of the range though

When the dealer looked at it he said he had absolutely no idea how to value it .. it still looked and smelt like a brand new car .. he said the book value was £600 but that was for one with 96k on it

We ended up selling it to a neighbour for £2k for their daughter as a 1st car

Sadly, the trade just deal in volume and margin and your car will just be valued the same as any other . they won’t give you any more for it than one that has actually been used
