If it's Carver the amp will be alongside the battery in the boot.

Cheers - if BMW come to their senses and sell me the dam* thing, I'll check for that.

Doesn't seem very different to the other low spec one....
The colour is personal but in the flesh, on a sunny day, I really liked that colour. Probably my third favourite after black and grey. Wouldn't work with red leather though, so tan would be best IMO.

Yea, don't like red leather anyway (no offence to those who do!) and grey is my favourite colour for the car - undecided on blue, I think with the right wheels it could be very nice.

108s look great with that colour

What do you think of this? Ok its Bigmotoringworld but at this price (would get 10% off for cash too) I would have a full inspection done, not sure why its under £10k though and it has less miles than others in their line up with higher miles?

It's certainly cheep and an ok spec and milage but still no heated seats, but for the price it's excusable. Odd that the original buyer paid a fortune for satnav but not the few hundred for heated seats.

From what I've read, they often advertise cheap cars like that but when you ring up or go along to see the car, they no longer have it and try and offer you something else.
If you try them, be very wary, take someone with you and expect to go away empty handed.

Yea I thought that too (about if the car would even still be there - have sent them an email to check) but wondered if that was the case why they have reduced the price from £10k?

Weird about the seats but I have a mechanic who could fit them if I got the part - still can't find out how much they cost for the parts, does anyone know?!!

I live in sunny southern Spain and would not buy a roadster without heated seats. On my way to work, with the top closed and heating on I am using the heated seats, the outside temp in the morning is around 8 degrees at the moment (our winter). Make sure you go for heated seats and I agree with other peoples comments here, be patient and get the car you really want otherwise you will feel gutted. When I was looking for my car 6 months ago I was in the same boat, money there to buy a car and not finding the right one, I nearly bought a couple out of desperation that didn't have all the spec I wanted. In the end a nice one (my one) came up with 108's, Carver, Xenon, electric memory heated seats, cruise, rain sensor, PDC, low mileage, SATNAV, right colour combination, excellent condition etc. I snapped it up immediately and am so glad I waited.

BTW - I did a search on Auto Scout for 03/04 Z4 3.0's in Spain, low mileage, decent spec. Believe it or not they are being advertised at a wapping 23k - 24k EUROS, that's around 20,000 of your British pounds! You guys are getting bargains!

Be careful mate.

You're going to end up buying something just for the sake of it.

At this moment in time, its a buyers market. The right car WILL come. It may come later, tomorrow, next week etc.

Don't settle for second best. Thats my opinion anyway.

Saying that - my roadster didn't have heated seats and it never bothered me as the heating system was good enough (altho I'm a fairweather roof down kinda guy). But I did spec them from new in my current car as they are nice.

......although.....I still maintain that the Z at Jaguar is a dam* good deal. Heated seats are the only thing I would miss, alloys I could pick up cheap and no problem, heated seats could be installed but don't have a clue how much they would be, still hoping someone could advise on that - what else do I really need?

The Z at Jaguar is bottom of the lowly bum end specs.
LEAVE IT ALONE :fuelfire:

Come up to Darlington and I'll take care of your money for you. I may even let you sit in a well specced Z4 :P
