Glad they've caught him, fucking prick needs his hands chopping off.

Don't worry about the car. Get the insurance payout and buy another. Preferably one that hasn't been driven around by some scumbag thief.

He must be a proper crackhead to sell a z4 for 300 quid. Probably paid for his next high.

How can you sell it so cheaply and someone not ask questions... sounds insane that he is the type of person to use bump keys... and then do that.
Its in Nottingham city? st anns? the meadows? can't believe the scrap yards would be so silly to get involved...
 
further update... they've found it.
parked up safely in a garage.

According to the officer who spoke to me, who hasnt seen it first hand, its reported as being in perfect condition.

It's being recovered now for forensics.
I've got a number to call tomorrow to see if I can get down to at least have a look at it..

now I really am going to cry.

sadly insurance may make you keep it if found within a certain time.. tho it may also be a payout - at least they caught them!

not scrappys mate.

it's other crimscum who buy the cars for cheap, rip them down and sell them off for parts.
they pay next to nothing for them, as it costs them to break it down and try to sell the parts.

Glad they found it hope its alright! Do you use it much might be worth getting a wheel clamp? But what do i know really happy they found it tho mate brilliant news and they caught the c**t. :thumbsup:

driving around in a charger for the last 24 hours has been.. expensive
 
It has gone up in value now it has been garaged :D

Great news though, hopefully they have filled him up as well with petrol :thumbsup:

I can imagine bet its fun tho! Maybe fit a light outside? I always hide me keys when i go away etc but then i live in a block of flats.. Still really hope the cars alright would be pretty annoyed if mine got stolen would have to drive around in my company car (ford focus estate) :cry:
 
That's a result. Fingers crossed there's no damage seeing as keys were used and it wasn't broken in to. I doubt it would have been driven far knowing it was recently stolen. Hope you get a good look at it soon.
 
That's great news that they've caught the little shite. Hopefully the car is in as good nick as has been reported to you.

Does your car now get registered as a Cat status if it was stolen & recovered? If so, then surely insurance will have to make good the shortfall?
 
Maybe he got it cleaned & detailed for you & cost him money, that'd be a turn up for the books
