It will increase consumption for many reasons from the oversensitive throttle that encourages use of more revs and more aggressive acceleration (that smile on your face costs money).
With cruise control it resumes preset speeds way faster.
On autos it sits approx. one gear lower at any speed and holds gears longer changing up later.

Don't know how the doors lock themselves? My Mum's 630 does it but i have to press the button on the center console in the Z.
As for the bluetooth, my Dad's connects automatically as soon as he get's in his X5 but when i get in the Z4 a message comes up on my phone that say's 'connect with BMW****?' and i have to click yes on my phone. :|
