Southern UK meet (Hampshire) - Sun 5/4/09

Here is hoping the weather on Sunday is the same as it has been the last few days........Just gorgeous, I am looking forward to a 'top down' cruise in the sun :D
 
I'll be along as well, one of pop_sausage's +1s

I'm really looking forward to this, first time on a run with the new car. I've not had much of a chance to drive it quickly down twisty roads so it'll be great fun.

Ahh.. How nice would that be? Just to shut down the laptop, put the blackberry in the draw and FO.

The weather's still looking good for Sunday, although it looks rubbish for tomorrow, so you might have to excuse the state of the car.
 
I'm a +1 as well (I assume that means a passenger) and count me in for the 2nd part as well please
 
I'll find another spot in Milford to meet, I don't think the petrol station will be big enough for us lot now. Please check back here tomorrow. I'll test out the tom tom route as well :)

Turns out i need brake pads F&R, and discs as well. No discs in stock, so will be limping on sunday. Just wondering whether to cut my losses and go with the BMW performance kit or better yet go all out and get AP's....
 
I will only be on the Alton part of the run at the mo Clare............unless i get up really early :o
 
I'm +1 now also. A mate wants to come to see the other cars. At least I can claim that it's the extra ballast slowing me down now. :D
 
I'm going to phone up the Windmill Inn GU34 5HG for lunch I think. Its the only pub in the area with a carpark big enough for us! I've never eaten there but it looks like they do a cavery and the menu looks pretty reasonable.

Don't be fooled by the pic of the pub on the site, it doesn't look anything like that. I think in reality it might be a bit rough around the edges!
 
Make sure you reserve parking, we want the Zd's all in a line together and hope the foods good for your sake. :poke:

Excellent choice for a big group, the car park area at the side is generally empty unless they have a function on. Can't comment on any solids sold there though :)
 
I'll have a passenger / co driver / wife (of just less than a month) with me as well so please make sure there's room for her at lunch.

If you have the money I would say go AP.

Most of the CSL boys upgrade to the AP's and rave about them, then just go for some Pagids in em :)
 
I'll be bringing along my old outdoor cover for the Z4 tomorrow if anyone wants it. I'm not wanting much for it, just whatever you feel it's worth. I don't need it any more as I don't have a Z4. I'll be the one in the 3 series if your interested.
