The polo could have gotten away with minor damage from that if they hit it with the front bumper ad then drove along.

Someone did a hit and run on my car a couple of years ago...£1k damage to my door, its life sucks at the time... but if it is written off (which I cant see why from the pics) saves you selling.

i think i got away with my door ding, only £250-300. but still its £250 out of my own pocket as my excess is 400 odd and i dont want to loose any no claims.

Got a call yesterday saying it's been repaired and it's costing just over £1k. I'm happy it's being fixed but i'll be paying the excess which isn't ideal but at least i get my car back.

Yup i was over the moon when he said it was being fixed. And i get my full tank back.

Will be putting it for sale when i get it back, i want an M now.
