Some C**T has done a hit and run on my car! UPDATE

Had some one dent my rear wing and drive away, a month back. Didn't take any pictures, as I didn't want to remember it. Total AH#les. :thumbsdown:

Easy to say. but the quicker you get it fixed the less it will hurt. :thumbsup:

Very little honest decency around these days. I'd also wager the person responsible was over the limit. Fingers crossed they get in touch now they've sobered up.
 
Fooking barstewards. Utter cowardice to not own up. Probably weren't insured or a young un driving parent's car perhaps.

Unfortunately the Police are unlikely to make much progress but it makes your blood boil doesn't it? Feel for you bud! Hope you get back to normal soon. :driving:
 
OMG that's awful luck buddy. Like you say probably some drink driving scum bag!!

All the best with what ever happens. I would say it's probably repairable.

Thanks guys, some of your comments are putting a smile on my face.

Just an update looks like the car won't be picked up till tomorrow. Just as a precaution i've removed my gaptech just in case it's written off. Either way i will be back in a z4 wether is mine or not.

I've also only just realised i'd filled up my tank with before i got home. Looks like a full tank of Shell V-power might end up going to waste.

I better crack open that bottle of jack daniels :D :evil:
 
I'd ask to get the petrol out of it or have insurance pay for it (probably some T&C saying petrol isn't covered though) :rofl:

Why not just go to s breakers like FAB direct get the parts you need and fit yourself if u can, is the door just sctratched?

Theres more damage than just scratches unfortunately. I sent some pictures to a mate who does body work, just waiting to see what he saids.
 
Please keep us posted if any progress in catching the culprits. It cant be that difficult for some plain ol detective work by the rozzers with camera evidence too. I lent my missus the zed a couple of weeks ago in Guildford and got it back with a big football sized dent in the rear quarter. Thanks Mr Chav.

Providing it's taken somewhere local they should give you access to it if it get written off. You will want to grab the Tax/VED disc as well.
 
That's absolutey shocking! I'm sure if the police look hard enough they'll find the culprit. Absolute scum
 
Sorry to see that happen to your car......hope you find the guy and kick ten tons of crap out of him.....or it could have been a woman. Either way sort em out and go looking for them. I would. Might be worth finding round some VW garages, chances are the owner will have their car booked in at some point
 
That's appalling.. must have made a fair amount of noise. I do feel for you.

The polo could have gotten away with minor damage from that if they hit it with the front bumper ad then drove along.

Someone did a hit and run on my car a couple of years ago...£1k damage to my door, its life sucks at the time... but if it is written off (which I cant see why from the pics) saves you selling.
