I will have more info after this weekend. Nice to see you here. We are planning a drive before we get to the airport at 2:00. That is all, that is for sure at this point. :driving: :wink:
 
Bob, are you planning to stay overnight somewhere in the desert? I'm itching for some blackjack, and I dont want to make the long run home to SImi saturday, so cathy and I are planning on staying down there. DewPilot sent us a list of hotels - might be a good time for all us Z4'ers to line our cars up in one of those casino hotel parking lots!

Anyone else game? (no pun intended)

We plan to stay the night. There has been talk of Margarita's after the races. :thumbsup: I don't want to drive home after those. We are game for an overnighter.
 
So are the over nighters all staying at the same place? Let me know when you guys come up with something so I can book my room!
 
I'm not I have a friend not far from there. So I won't be drinking too much if at all. Doubt I'll even have more than a beer (or two). Granted watch me have such a good time I end up getting a room last minute.
 
I will be staying the night. I plan on having a few refreshments and will not want to drive much before Sunday morning ( mid morning ). I am not familiar with any of the hotels on the list. I am open to any place. Lets have some suggestions.
 
Grrrrrrr...I was just notified my Christmas party is scheduled for December 1st...and starting at 5 PM :o . I may still try to join this run but will have to leave early...if this causes me to miss the drags I think there will be several people from my office that will be buying me drinks !!
 
My wife and I are booked at Embassy Suites La Quinta - Hotel & Spa about 10 minutes from our end point. This hotel came highly recommended by my boss, and we got a great rate discount! Count us in!
 
The Embassy Suites La Quinta is really great. It's a brand new hotel right in the center of "old" La Quinta. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

This is the list as I know it (please correct me when I'm not correct) :roll:

I'm going to do some thinking out loud, so pop in, Nothing is in cocrete except at the airport at 2:00-3:00.

Start the cruise in Palm Desert and make a run through Lake Hemet and Banning and back to The Salten Sea. I figure that will be about 4 hours. Some people from Las Vegas and from Victorville area. Some of the people will be coming from San Diego. I don't know if they will meet us in Palm Desert or at a different location. I was thinking of starting at 10:00 AM. We can setup meet pionts at say the 10 and 215 ( 91 ) freeways.

Go to the airport and have some fun and a BBQ and drinks at (?).

Gambling time ? I will need my beauty rest.

Stay the night and have breakfast and a drive on the way out, perhaps through Joshua Tree. There are some interesting areas for pics. I will get some pics up as soon as I find them.
