SoCalz's - December 1st - 2nd Annual Desert Run

Oooh Big Bear....definitly in....well so long as no snow. Being in Vegas I'm not going to get winter/snow tires.
 
Well, it turns out the snowboard DEFINITLY won't make it in the trunk (duh i know) but it will fit in the passenger seat.
 
:cry: sorry guys...no radar gun.
My brother in law just got reasigned last week. He's no longer a motor cop and doesn't do traffic duty anymore so he doesn't have a radar gun available to him on the weekends.
He does have a really cool dog though now that he's a K9 officer! Just don't make the dog mad... :o

Last year, we just had the "copilots" take pictures of the speedometers (assumng they are all calibrated the same, I should think this would work for comparison purposes).

I think what we really need a black and white checkered flag... :driving:
 
Personally I'd rather a (single-not taken) girl waiting at the end to kiss the 1st place winner...But don't listen to me, i'm just single and loving it :P

Great idea. I have just the gal for this. However, since you are probably the only single guy planning on being there, your odds of winning just greatly increased.

We will let her hold the checkered flag.

I was actually thinking of going to the end and setting up my video camera and tape you guys coming on down the road. All I gotta figure out is how am I going to make sure the rush of the wind as you guys pass won't take out my camera.

On a side note, being that I have an unmodded 3.0 I'm really not expecting to win....but i'm sure going to try.
