I’m contemplating updating but I’m wondering what I will get out of the deal other than potential grief!

I looked at that and have downloaded the jpg file from the manufacture and will compare the features carefully tomorrow. At a quick on screen glance there is nothing on the update that I find exciting over my v1.00

Mine is all working ticketyboo so I’m a little bit reluctant to mend something that isn’t broken.

Going to check mine this week if the rain stops - trickle charger on order should be here by Friday as well

Checked mine and I have the mirrors and one touch working, the roof will not open on the remote and come up with increased battery discharge warning.

Think this is a poor battery - going to put it on a trickle charge tomorrow for the weekend and see what happens but think it may be a new battery

Have you tried with the engine running - and preferably at a fast tick over

The roof works on one touch with the engine running - will try the remote with the engine running later

Yeah I understood Ron, will give it a try later but I did have the warning on the screen excessive battery usage or something along those lines.

I seem to remember way back when someone had problems with the unit when the plugs were not fully and properly seated - the engine running will eliminate this and steer you towards a low / poor battery.

Ok - will take a look later this evening - think it could be the battery, hope so or it is take everything apart again

Depending on what charger you bought could be worth doing a recondition and charge first time round

Bought a smart charger so should be able to do that - sounds a sensible thing to do as well Andy

Hope so, the charger said it was fully charged but I have the excessive battery discharge warning when trying to open the top with the remote
